Alpheus Communications In The NewsAlpheus Purchases Telecom CenterHOUSTON, TEXAS (September 6, 2005) - Alpheus Communications announced today that it has purchased a specialized telecommunications facility located at 1905 East 6 th Street in Austin, Texas. The 34,802 square foot building has been home to Alpheus' Austin network facilities for a number of years and offers exceptional interconnection and co-location space for other Texas telecommunications firms. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Alpheus owns and operates an extensive, deep metro fiber footprint in Texas, with facilities in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Fort Worth and Austin. Alpheus offers third-party co-location space services to its customers in all markets. This strategic facility will allow the company to scale that capability for emerging wireless carriers, corporate disaster recovery, or competitive peering for VoIP providers. “We are a facilities-intensive company.
