Ed Stacey Joins Alpheus as CFO

June 21, 2005 (Houston, TX) - Alpheus Communications announced today the appointment of Edward E. Stacey as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Stacey joins the Alpheus executive team to manage the company's financial affairs and play a key role in execution of the company's acquisition strategy.

Prior to joining Alpheus, Stacey served as CFO for Clear Channel Entertainment in Houston. He also served in senior management positions with Williams Communications Group and Compaq Computer Corporation. Stacey holds a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Texas and a bachelor's degree from Hastings College.
