Alpheus Communications provides metro access to carriers and enterprise customers. Alpheus features two core metro product offerings:

• Hubbed Service (Point to multi-point)
• Point to point service

By providing customers with high-bandwidth transport into Alpheus' hub, Hub Services can provide economies not available with point-to-point. Typically, customers utilize high-bandwidth “aggregation” circuits from their primary locations (or POP's) into the Alpheus hub, and then from there fan out lower speed circuits in a hub-and-spoke topology. The ultimate end point can be an on-net location, an off-net location or a central office.

Point to Point Service provides private line service between two endpoints. These endpoints can be provisioned as: point-to-point, Central Office (CO) colo-to-CO colo, or from CO colo-to point. DS1 to OC-192 bandwidths are available. As a point-to-point service, both end points are provisioned symmetrically to provide the same bandwidth capacity in both directions.
