Alpheus’ Remote Hands service assists customers who are colocated in our facilities with routine support and maintenance.  We can also lend a hand in an emergency situation upon request.

Increase Uptime and Save Money

Remote Hands colocation customers no longer need to dispatch their own technicians to an Alpheus facility to perform straightforward or routine tasks.  An Alpheus engineer can perform simple trouble shooting or maintenance tasks that do not require tools or equipment 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

It gives you a data center presence that's always available while saving you both time and money.

Remote Hands Service Includes:

  • Server/equipment reboot
  • Equipment and card testing
  • Secure cabling connections
  • Removal of customer equipment

Two Levels of Service:

Remote Hands can be provided "usage-based" or on a "subscription" basis. Subscription services are billed at a savings over usage-based, hourly rates.  More details on the options and pricing are available from your local sales representative, but in general, these are the Remote Hands service levels:

  • Offering 1: One to three hour customer response during normal business hours
    • (Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., CST, excluding holidays)
  • Offering 2: Outside of business hours—Three hour customer response
