Our 2.5 Gbps managed waves are well-suited for customers who need reliable and scalable high-capacity transport and prefer to manage their own bandwidth.

The Alpheus Wave Product:

• Acts as a cost effective alternative to lighting dark fiber;
• Allows you to manage your own bandwidth and maintain maximum network control;
• Enables you to leverage existing network equipment.
• Enables you to manage growth more effectively and meet unexpected traffic volumes;
• Provides simple bandwidth scalability and an easy incremental provisioning advantage;
• Is available in both SONET and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces;
• Supports all major protocols (ATM, Frame Relay, SONET, Ethernet or IP).

Alpheus Waves are available in the following point-to-point configurations:

• Load Sharing – Customer receives two client interfaces and Alpheus provides two physically diverse unprotected connections (Customer performs switching).
• Network Protection – Network protection, but no client protection.
• Un-Protected – No network or client protection.
